At St. Therese School we strive to offer an alternative in education, the St. Therese Difference. #theSTSdifference is not something that can easily be measured or defined, but its results can be seen in our children every day. Our children benefit from an enriching and caring environment where Christian values become an integral part of their everyday life; an environment where they are encouraged to develop as individuals and to fulfill their intellectual and spiritual potential.
FAITH. FAMILY. FOUNDATION.
Supported by Faith, STS is a true Family, thus creating a strong Foundation for your children, ours. Offering a comprehensive education from PK through 8th grade, we are dedicated to preparing our students, your children, for their journey into higher education and their future.
Conducted nationwide, this VFW-sponsored youth essay competition gives students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. More than 138,000 students across the country participated last year. Every year, the Roxbury VFW Ladies Auxiliary invites STS middle school students to submit their essays.
STS students and families put together 143 boxes this year, such a huge success, every November. With STS as a northern NJ drop-off location this year, we have grown this wonderful project in providing over 540 Boxes and assets, collecting from various Northern NJ Ministries.
Katie’s House, Newton, NJ, honored STS's own Kristen Taylor, with their “Outstanding Volunteer Award.” Kristen started their Book Club in 2016 and the club has been meeting weekly for 7 years (and via Zoom during the pandemic). Book Club has become a favorite activity for Katie's House Friendship Group and Circle of Friends members.
